Okay, that sums up Woody world. It sums up each of his characters in every movie he's made. It sums up Woody himself who hates to leave Manhattan, in fact, for a long time, even his neighborhood.
Things have changed a bit. Woody never liked change, but economics, feuds with long-time associates, bad publicity, weather and politics have forced it upon him, and those of us who treasure him. Once, the persistent theme was about the zeitgeist of the decade, the 60s, 70s etc. Lately, Woody has been mucking about in the streets of Spain and now London, trying to discover if Euro-angst is the same as in the five boroughs. It isn't.

Well as we all know by now, the school year has begun. Today the campus is a madhouse because of all of the undergraduate students that are moving back into the dorms. School begins for them tomorrow so they are scurrying around campus and the surrounding area. This time of year is truly exciting for me because this is my comfort zone. Since I am a 3L now, I have gotten into such a routine way of life, that I am comfortable in my surroundings. Although it can be annoying when people are scattered all around the campus while you are driving to class with 10 minutes to spare, but at the same time, it is the norm.
Since my first day of law school in Fall of 2008, I have enjoyed school once I have gotten into the building. However, the external school factors- such as driving on campus at a peak time, finding parking, scraping up change for the parking meters- have all been a nuisance. On the other hand, its kind of comforting to be in the midst of the school environment because this is pretty much all I know. Most students are single with no children so we do not have the added responsibility, therefore, school is pretty much the extent of our livelihood. The only exception would be if you have job, which would account for some of our responsibility. I am currently working two part-time jobs, but school is still top priority. As a full-time law student, the ABA only allows us to work 20 hours a week or less anyways.
