… And then I got out of band late. Twenty minutes late. Because they messed up the schedule saying we would get dismissed from the field (so I could just run across the street, and have 45 minutes for dinner before my time for registration opened), but they instead had us march to Elliott, which is a 15 minute march one way down the street and a ten minute walk back the other way. Plus I wanted to eat dinner first. So I wasn't happy when I got to registration and I could only get into 9 of the 18 hours I planned on taking. It ends up one of my classes didn't fulfill a prerequisite I thought it would, another requirement all the classes were full, and yet another I need an override from my advisor to get into the class. I had to redo my schedule and am now at 15 hours waiting for my advisor to override so I can take Spanish. It's all very frustrating. My schedule isn't at all the way I had planned. And my plan to have all classes done by lunchtime fell through; the only time for a class I need is 4:30-5:45 two days a week. I suppose I'll get used to my schedule once I start. But the registration process always has me down.
On the bright side, in less than a week I will be in New York! Today we received itineraries. It's going to be a busy Thanksgiving break, but it will be so much fun. Since I don't get to go home for Thanksgiving, my parents and grandparents are coming up this weekend to visit. I'm really excited to see them.
