The NHS bill for the impotence cure Viagra has soared to an estimated 9 million pounds it was revealed yesterday.
The information has sparked a wave of controversy as the NHS budgets have recently become so tight that the availability of some cancer and dementia drugs have been restricted.
In Scotland last year, 35,000 men were given a course of Viagra sildenafil which cost them just a three pound prescription charge. In comparison in 2002, just 15,000 men were prescribed the male impotence pills which cost the NHS 2.3 million pounds. However, the new cost of prescribing Viagra is more than the six million which the national health service spends dispensing penicillin.
Statistics have shown that 10% of men experience impotence in their lives.
Doctors will prescribe Viagra for a men who have either diabetes, prostate cancer, if they have a pelvic injury or if the condition is causing them to experience a severe amount of distress.
Mary Scanlon, who is the Scottish Tory spokeswoman for health has said on the matter: �Given the poor availability and access to new drugs for cancer and dementia patients, I think it is time the Scottish Government decided whether impotence drugs are of greater priority.�

i heard never to buy the viagra knock offs but i did and im scared of using it.. they still say they are sildenafil citrate but i don't know if they're any good.. they said that sum don't even get u an erection and sum are so bad that they mess up ur heart is it true?
Sildenafil citrate is the generic name for Viagra, so technically it should be chemically identical to Viagra. Where did you get it? If you got it from a shady source I wouldn't trust it.

fake viagra?

how can you tell if viagra is fake or (fake sildenafil). 2 guys bought them online from two different companies one came from india the other from china, another guy gets his from central america. All three look different in shape and size and all claim to be 100mg. There all blue color but is there a "CSI" test method to tell without taking the pill which one is fake. Oh and by the way there is another guy who gets a prescription one that is from Pfizer.
Because if all three are real then it becomes on who is paying the most to bring theirs in.
ive been ordering meds online for years and i have received fake ones before. To know if its fake you can do 2 things.
1. get a testing kit and test it yourself.
2. Ask them to get lot and serial numbers from where they bought it for the blister packs, if they cannot provide this information than its most likley fake.
If you want to make sure you get the real stuff in the future always use something like pharmacy checker or drug deliverys escrow service, both have a guarantee of satifisation.
